"Only a person who is connected to his past, to his people, and to his roots can be free, and only a free person has the strength to act for the benefit of the rest of humanity." - Natan Sharansky

Transportation

The JHSC campus is located in the beautiful, newly renovated educational facilities of Congregation B’nai Israel at 2710 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, CT, directly adjacent to the town of Fairfield.  JHSC will work to arrange the most convenient, cost-effective transportation options from various locations throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties.  After speaking with parents of pioneer students, JHSC staff will determine and finalize the best possible and most cost effective transportation options from the various locales represented in our high school community.

Food Service

JHSC is committed to offering its students healthy food options. During his tenure at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay in San Francisco, Rabbi Harwitz and his colleagues introduced a kosher organic lunch program that has become a model for Jewish schools around North America.  Our goal is to create a similar program for our students at JHSC. All food served at JHSC will come under the supervision of The Vaad HaKashrus of Fairfield County or a similar supervising organization in another state.
