JHSC's Power of One program is a seminar designed to introduce our community to new ideas. We hope that you discover among our speakers people who have gone on a serious journey of self-discovery and have lived up to their unique potential.

We are excited to invite you to hear our next speaker, renowned artist Eileen Eder. Eileen's work is exhibited widely in New York and Connecticut and represented in important private and corporate collections. Eileen is a painter with a passion for drawing, and her work has been called highly accessible, yet emotionally and intellectually complex.

Eileen received her B.F.A. from Albertus Magnus College and her M.F.A. from the Graduate School of Figurative Art. She has held teaching positions at the Creative Arts Workshop and Yale Center for British Art in New Haven, CT.
