Daily life at the Jewish High School of Connecticut will be rich, rewarding and full of opportunities for active participation. A vast array of athletic programs, arts and cultural opportunities, as well as clubs and organizations will be created and enhanced by the creativity and interests of the students and faculty at Jewish High School of Connecticut.
Life at JHSC will follow the rhythm of the Jewish calendar. JHSC will present Judaism as a source of religious commitment, spiritual opportunity and joyous celebration offering a variety of choices for daily Tefillah (worship and reflection), celebration of Shabbat and holidays, and guest speakers, and teachers from across the Jewish community.
JHSC will work to arrange the most convenient, cost-effective transportation options from various locations throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties. JHSC staff will meet with parents of its pioneer students in order to determine the best possible transportation options from the various locales represented in our high school community.
JHSC will cater to the students with pioneering spirits who wish to express their initiative and contribute to building a rich and dynamic culture for our high school.
