Beruchim Ha'Baim - welcome to the Jewish High School of Connecticut (JHSC). As we prepare to welcome the pioneer class of JHSC in the Fall of 2010 we are excited by the enthusiasm expressed by prospective students and families. Our goal is to offer a new model of Jewish high school education for teenagers throughout Southern Connecticut.

Offering a rigorous college preparatory program in general and Jewish studies along with a co-curricular program in athletics, the fine and performing arts, technology and community service, JHSC will provide students from all Jewish backgrounds and levels of Jewish learning a stimulating and supportive academic and social community. The founding faculty and staff will come to JHSC with demonstrated expertise and leadership in their individual academic disciplines, general pedagogy and education along with deep concern for the mind and soul of each student.
Recently, the Board of Trustees announced the Leo Nevas Pioneer Tuition Grant for the 2010-2011 academic year, a new initiative on behalf of the families of our student halutzim at JHSC. I invite you to learn more about the grant and submit your admissions application by its deadline of January 22, 2010.
