Admissions Test (ISEE)
In general, applicants to JHSC take the ISEE as a standardized admissions test. When taking the ISEE, please use the following code for the Jewish High School of Connecticut: 071105. The ISEE is administered at various times and in different locations throughout the school year. The ISEE registration guide, complete with locations and times for the ISEE, is available online at www.iseetest.org. If you prefer, please contact JHSC and our office will forward a copy to you. Families of applicants are responsible for paying the cost of taking the ISEE. Please arrange for your child to take the ISEE as early as possible.
Personal Meeting with Student and Parents
Once JHSC receives a completed application, JHSC will invite each student applicant and the applicant’s parents for a personal meeting. However, you are welcome and encouraged to call for a personal meeting with Rabbi Harwitz and a tour of the JHSC campus at any stage of the admissions process.
The Leo Nevas Pioneer Tuition Grant
The Leo Nevas Pioneer Tuition Grant is a new initiative for families of our student halutzim (pioneers). Students who submit their application by the priority deadline of January 22, 2010 will be eligible for the Leo Nevas Pioneer Tuition Grant.
