2010-2011 JHSC PTSO
PTSO Mission Statement & Mission:
The JHSC PTSO (Parent Teacher Student Organization) is an organization representing families in grades 9 through 12, organized to facilitate communication among students, parents, teachers and the administration. Every current student, parent or guardian, as well as each faculty, staff and administrator is automatically a member of the PTSO. The PTSO's overall mission is to foster the relationship between the parent body, student body and the School and to be in partnership to benefit the school community. Our PTSO has three main functions:
1. To facilitate communication between parents, students and JHSC
2. To develop and promote a strong sense of community and school spirit
3. To raise revenue for school projects, equipment and events, numerous educational, holiday and social programs for students, faculty and parents
We encourage all students, parents and guardians to get involved in the PTSO in some way. Volunteering is a wonderful way to get to know fellow parents. More importantly, each of us is unique and has something to offer the school community. Not only does the PTSO and parent body benefit from each person’s involvement, but ultimately, each of us plays a part in enriching the school life of our children.
