Gina Fuller, Head of Mathematics

JHSC is pleased to welcome Gina Fuller as the Head of Mathematics.

Mrs. Fuller comes to JHSC with over 35 years of experience as a classroom teacher and educational leader in the field of high school mathematics.

Mrs. Fuller has a BA in mathematics from the University of Maine and an MBA from the University of Southern New Hampshire. Most recently, Mrs. Fuller served on the faculty of the David Saperstein Middle School of the Milken Community High School where she taught math and served as a TAP/Mentor teacher for new teachers in both the high school and middle schools.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Fuller has taught all levels of high school and middle school mathematics.  At Oak Hill School in Sabattus, Maine, where Mrs. Fuller taught for 28 years and served as the Department Head for Mathematics and Computer Technology, she worked to develop a competitive math team program.  Mrs. Fuller was a member of the Project Aspire program from the University of Maine, a unique program where students taking her A.P. Calculus and A.P. Statistics classes while still in high school were awarded twelve college credits from the University of Maine system.  Mrs. Fuller has also enjoyed teaching college courses for the University of Maine, including introductory computer and programming classes.

A dedicated, passionate and inspiring teacher, Mrs. Fuller loves the opportunity to work with students individually in order to support and enrich the work in her classroom.  During lunch and after school you can always find her smiling while surrounded by students and offering her help and encouragement to all.

In addition to teaching math, Mrs. Fuller can often be found exploring her state, region and world.  She loves to travel, having been to Israel five times in the last few years as well as joining Jewish History trips through Italy and Morocco.  An avid reader and a collector of books, comics, and sewing machines, Mrs. Fuller’s true passion is solving and collecting riddles and puzzles.   In the summer Mrs. Fuller can be found on the beach with her grandchildren.
